Having gathered the results for my questionnaires some time ago, I have finally completed the conversion of these results into pie-charts, which can be seen in the image attatched to this post.
I chose to only convert certain question results into pie-charts; these results being those which had the greatest impact on my own creation. I have only created charts for questions 1, 2, 5 and 8, as these question results would have the greatest effect on my own choices in designing my Main Task pieces.
Question 7's results were equally important; however this question was one which required a written response from the individual.
In response to the question 'What do you typically expect to see on the front of a music magazine?' the general answer from my test audience was that they expected to see;
- An image of the band who is the main feature of the issue
- Advertisments for upcoming tours/events
- Titles of Articles fetured inside the magazine
I will use the information I have acquired through my questionnaire about the expected conventions of music magazines, to influence my own decisions as I progress through the main task.
